Our section for members aged 14-18

Rangers offers a programme that empowers girls to develop their potential, build confidence, and become leaders in their communities. Designed specifically for young women aged 14 to 18, providing them with a space to challenge themselves, explore new interests, and make a difference.

They have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities tailored to their interests and aspirations. Outdoor adventures such as hiking, camping, and canoeing will help them develop teamwork, resilience, and a love for nature. They may also engage in activities like rock climbing, orienteering, and survival skills, which will challenge them physically and mentally, fostering personal growth and self-belief.
However, being a Ranger is not just about outdoor pursuits. They can explore their creative side through arts and crafts, drama, and music. They may also learn practical skills like cooking, first aid, and budgeting. Additionally, there are opportunities to engage in community service projects, volunteer work, and social action campaigns, where they can contribute to causes that matter to them and positively impact society.

“Being a Ranger is about embracing adventure and making a difference. It’s where I discover my strengths, challenge my limits, and create memories.” Ranger
They’ll be part of a supportive community of like-minded young women, where they can share experiences, celebrate achievements, and support one another through challenges.
Rangers can also offer leadership opportunities. They can take on responsibilities within their unit, such as planning and leading activities, organising events, and mentoring younger members. These experiences will enhance their leadership skills, boost their confidence, and develop their ability to inspire and empower others.
Being a Ranger opens doors to a world of opportunities and personal growth. It enables them to discover their strengths, passions, and values, while also nurturing a sense of social responsibility and community engagement. The skills and experiences they gain as a Ranger will not only benefit them personally but also equip them with the tools to make a positive difference in their own life and the lives of others.
